Ever thought of being in a scene of The Walking Dead where you have to survive the zombies? Well, now you can imagine that with Hyundai’s special edition Tucson in the scene. And we are as serious as a Zombie.
Fans of The Walking Dead are in for a treat as Hyundai unveiled a special edition dedicated to the post-apocalyptic horror drama series. The Walking Dead edition dons an Ash Black exterior with body side graphics and special badging. Customers can get this crossover in their choice of four decals options – Hilltop, Kingdom, Saviors and Survivors – to display their fidelity to certain factions from The Walking Dead.
Interiors get black leather seats, special floor mats and a seven-inch touchscreen display with a special The Walking Dead splash screen. The model also has special badging and a “Zombie Survival Kit” that includes everything from zip ties to mint toothpaste.
Powering the crossover is a 2.4-liter Theta II GDI engine that churns out 182 bhp and 240 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted through a six-speed automatic transmission which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system.
So what’s next Hyundai? Maybe a Game of Thrones or Avengers special.
