Hyundai has commenced the pre-bookings for its upcoming flagship SUV, Tucson. The booking can be done for a token amount of ₹50000 and the SUV will launch on the 4th of August. Hyundai also revealed the colors and variants for the Tucson lineup. The Tucson will be available in five colors including Polar White, Fiery Red, Phantom Black, Amazon Grey, and Starry Night. It is also available in dual tone colors of Polar White and Fiery with Phantom black roof. Let’s take a look at the variant-wise features of the new Tucson:

Platinum

The entry-level Platinum variant comes pretty well loaded with features such as a dark chrome parametric grille, LED DRLs, automatic LED headlamps, LED taillamps, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, Black and Grey dual-tone interior with Leather upholstery, 64 color ambient lighting, 10-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control, wireless charger, 10.25-inch floating instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, electric parking brake, electrically adjustable and folding mirrors, keyless entry with push button start/stop and remote start, dual-zone climate control, rear reclining seats, front and rear USB ports, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, Bluelink connected car technology, 8 speaker Bose sound system, steering mounted audio controls, drive modes, and a 360-degree camera with blind view monitor. In terms of safety, it comes with 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, Hill Hold Assist, Hill Descent Control, ISOFIX child mounts, and TPMS.

Signature

The top-end Signature variant adds driver seat memory function, 8-way adjustable passenger seat, handsfree electric tailgate, heated and ventilated front seats, and a passenger walk-in device. It also gets a host of ADAS features including Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist- Car, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist- Pedestrian, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist- Cycle, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist- Junction Turning, Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Warning, Blind-Spot View Monitor, Safe Exit Warning, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Following Assist, High Beam Assist, Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Surround View Monitor. Powertrain Options

The Hyundai Tucson is available with a petrol and diesel engine. The 2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 156 hp and 192 nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed automatic. The diesel engine is a 2-liter unit that produces 185 hp and 416 nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The diesel Tucson is offered with HTRAC All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system along with Multi-Terrain Modes (Snow/Mud/Sand).
