Hyundai is preparing for the launch of the new special editions of Creta and Alcazar. The name is Adventure Edition and it will replace the Knight Edition in Creta. Moreover, this edition will come in both the Creta and Alcazar.

What’s New in Hyundai Adventure Edition?
Like the Knight Edition, the Adventure Edition will get many changes on the exterior. With this edition, Hyundai will offer the Ranger Khaki colour in the Creta and Alcazar. This colour is recently featured in the newly launched Hyundai Exter.
The Adventure Edition will also get a dual-tone theme and a contrasting black roof. This theme is similar to Tata’s Camo Edition.
Meanwhile, the exterior will get black treatment on bumper garnish, roof rails, mirrors, and alloy wheels. This black treatment is also in the new Exter. The SUVs will get Adventure Edition badges on certain parts and panels. With these changes, the exterior design will look different from the crowd.
Changes in the Interior
We can expect that the Adventure Edition SUVs will get an all-black interior theme. This edition will add contrast stitching and Adventure Edition badges on the seat and door sill.
Like the Knight Edition, the Adventure Edition will be available in many variants. Although, we can expect that the carmaker might add some new features in this Edition.
Meanwhile, the dashboard layout will remain the same and there will be no major changes to the interior.
Powertrain Options
The Adventure Edition of Creta and Alcazar will get the same engines and gearboxes. It means that both will be available with petrol and diesel engines.
The Creta gets a 1.5L non-turbo VTVT petrol engine. This engine makes 114hp of power and 144nm of torque. But this engine is available with 6-Speed Manual and Automatic Gearbox options.
The Alcazar gets a 1.5L turbocharged T-GDi petrol engine. This engine makes 160hp of power and 253nm of torque. But, this engine can be had with a 6-Speed Manual or 7-Speed DCT gearbox.
Meanwhile, the 1.5L 4-cylinder CRDi diesel engine is common in both these SUVs. This engine produces 114hp of power and 250nm of torque. This engine is available with 6-Speed Manual and Automatic Gearbox options.
Launch Timeline, Pricing, and the Competition
We can expect that the carmaker will launch the Adventure Edition by September 2023. Meanwhile, the pricing of the limited-edition variants will be higher than the respective trims.
After launch, it will compete with Skoda Kushaq’s Lava Matte and Blue Edition, Volkswagen Taigun GT Edge Edition, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, etc. While the main purpose of these editions is to create hype during the festive season.
