Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), the country’s second largest car manufacturer and the largest passenger car exporter announced today the following elevations in its senior leadership team. Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing has been elevated as Director-Sales & Marketing division, while Mr. Ganesh Mani S, Vice President-Production division has been promoted as Senior Vice President – Production.
Mr. Vikas Jain, Senior General Manager – Sales division has been elevated as Assistant Vice President – Sales. The promotions are effective April 1, 2017. Congratulating the promotees, Mr. Y. K. Koo, CEO & Managing Director, HMIL exhorted them to intensify their work by providing leadership to their teams to work towards HMIL’s long term vision of achieving market leadership.
Hyundai recently updated their premium hatchback i20 and the compact SUV Creta with new paint schemes and interior features. The company also launched a Sports Edition of their entry-level hatchback Eon, which has been priced at Rs. 3.88 lakh. The updated Creta and the i20 feature a CarPlay and Android Auto compatible AVN system, and get the much popular blacked out roof treatment. The Creta also can be bought in a new entry-level ‘Executive’ trim.
