Rear-seat entertainment is becoming a bigger part of the SUV experience, and Hyundai has now brought this idea to three of its popular models. The company has introduced new Lounge Editions of the Creta, Alcazar and Creta Electric in India. Prices start at Rs 19.21 lakh and go up to Rs 25.22 lakh, ex-showroom.
The main addition across the three SUVs is a large 11.6-inch rear entertainment screen. It can be used for OTT content, video streaming, gaming, phone mirroring and apps through a certified app store. The system is paired with the existing eight-speaker Bose audio setup.
Hyundai Lounge Edition: What is new?
Hyundai has also given the three SUVs a different cabin treatment. The changes include silver-coloured inserts, Moonwhite ambient lighting, a new seat pattern and Lounge-branded rear headrest cushions.
The exterior gets a darker look with black elements on several parts. A new Golden Bronze colour is also available.

Creta Lounge Edition
The Creta Lounge Edition is based on the King trim and is available with petrol and diesel automatic powertrains. The petrol version uses the 1.5-litre MPi engine with an IVT gearbox. The diesel gets the 1.5-litre CRDi engine with an automatic transmission.
It also gets 18-inch matte-black alloy wheels, along with black treatment for the skid plates, side sills, spoiler, roof rails, C-pillar garnish and ORVMs. The Creta Lounge is priced from Rs 19.21 lakh, while the top diesel dual-tone version costs Rs 20.45 lakh.
Alcazar Lounge Edition Gets Five Seats
The Alcazar gets the most noticeable change inside. The Lounge Edition is offered with a five-seat layout instead of the regular three-row arrangement. This gives more space for the rear passengers.
It is based on the Signature trim and is sold only with the 1.5-litre diesel automatic powertrain. A voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof is also available. Alcazar Lounge details:

Creta Electric Lounge Edition
The electric version is based on the Excellence Long Range variant. It gets the same rear entertainment system and cabin treatment, along with a dashcam and rear wireless charger.
It uses 17-inch black aero alloy wheels and gets black exterior elements similar to the petrol and diesel models. The Creta Electric Lounge starts at Rs 24.34 lakh and goes up to Rs 25.22 lakh with the home charger and dual-tone options.

The Lounge Editions bring more equipment and a different cabin experience to Hyundai’s SUV range. The Alcazar’s five-seat layout makes it the most distinct version, while the Creta Electric adds a few extra convenience features.
