The very popular Hyundai i20 has been around for a while now, and the manufacturer has decided to make it more today by adding fresh new features. While the car will continue with the same mechanical components, it will receive new updates in the form of mild cosmetic changes on the outside and a few new bits for the cabin.
The updated hatchback will be available in a new shade of Marina Blue, made popular by the BMW M3 and M4. If dual tone cuts it for you, the refreshed Hyundai i20 will be sold in shades of Polar White and Passion Red, with a contrasting blacked out roof. Interiors will get an all-black treatment with contrasting orange inserts, and the top most variant will get a 7.0-inch infotainment system which will support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Powering the car will be the same 1.2-liter VTVT engine mated to a 5-speed manual, a 1.4 petrol with a 4-speed auto and a 1.4 diesel with a 6-speed stick.
These updates should keep the car going strong as it will have increased competition in the form of the new Swift, which is slated for launch this year. However, the i20 already has its own set of loyalists for the the way it looks and the premium feeling it offers.
