Hyundai India has introduced another automatic variant of their Grand i10. The Magna trim will now be offered with a 4-speed automatic transmission kit onboard and is priced at INR 5.91 lakhs (Ex-Showroom Delhi). The same variant in the metallic livery will retail at INR 5.95 Lakhs. The Automatic variant of the Magna will be available in only petrol version. Recently, Hyundai Motor India launched the 20th Anniversary special edition of the Hyundai Grand i10 Sportz variant which is available in both petrol and diesel versions.
A 1.2 Kappa Dual VTVT engine will power the aforementioned, Hyundai Grand i10 Magna AT. The 1,197cc petrol unit will produce peak power of 81 Bhp at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of max torque at 4,000 rpm. The power will be pushed to the wheels by a 4-speed automatic transmission. The top of the line Asta (petrol) variant is also available with the automatic transmission. Now the Grand i10 ATs are ready go head on the Maruti Suzuki Celerio AMT and the Brio Automatic.
In April, Hyundai India rolled out an automatic variant of their Creta (Petrol) with a price tag of INR 12.87 lakh. Also, A couple of weeks ago, the top blokes of the automaker had revealed plans of introducing Automated Manual Transmission tech in their Indian product line-up. This plan was announced on the celebratory occasion of Hyundai India.
