Hyundai Debuts the 2024 Creta Facelift!

Hyundai Motor India has unveiled the much-anticipated facelifted version of its SUV, the Creta, with an introductory starting price of Rs. 10.99 lacs (ex-showroom). The revamped Creta Facelift adheres to Hyundai’s Global Design Language of ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ and introduces a range of new features.

Creta Facelift: New Exterior Design

Distinct from its global counterparts, the India-spec Creta boasts a squared-off front fascia, featuring a prominent rectangular grille with a segmented LED lightbar along the upper edge. The main headlights sit lower on the bumper, which incorporates a robust faux skid-plate for a more muscular appearance. The rear showcases updates, including a redesigned tailgate, slimmer taillights with a light bar, and a rear bumper with prominent cladding and a skid plate element.

Measuring 4330 mm in length, 1790 mm in width, and 1635 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2610 mm, the Creta facelift is available in 6 mono-tone color options and 1 dual-tone option. The colours are Robust Emerald Pearl, Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey, and 1 dual-tone colour option, Atlas White with Black Roof.

The Creta facelift comes equipped with advanced features such as Quad Beam LED Headlamps, Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS, Voice-Enabled Smart Panoramic Sunroof, and a connected 26.03 cm HD Infotainment & 26.03 cm Digital Cluster. The interiors have been upgraded with Drive Mode Select, Traction Control Modes, a Bose Premium Sound System with 8 speakers, Paddle Shifters, and more, enhancing the SUV’s premium appeal. Additionally, the Creta facelift introduces the Advanced Blue Link connected car service, offering over 70 features.

MY2024 Creta: Variants & Powertrains

The SUV is available in three powertrain options across seven variants – E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX(O). The engine options include a 1.5-litre MPI naturally aspirated petrol engine generating 115 PS at 6300 RPM and 144 Nm of torque. It is available with a 6-speed MT and a CVT automatic. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine produces 160 PS at 5500 RPM and 253 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DCT automatic. The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 116 PS at 4000 RPM and 250 Nm of torque, available with a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

MY2024 Creta: Interiors & New Dash

The new Hyundai Creta boasts cockpit-inspired interiors with a pair of 10.25” curvilinear screens for the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster. The redesigned center console houses controls for the new Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control, enhancing convenience. The overall design is complemented by trendy air conditioning vents on the dashboard.

The Korean automaker is offering a 3-year unlimited km warranty and Roadside Assistance, with additional options for up to 5 years of running repair package and periodic maintenance package with the Creta. Extended warranty options up to 7 years are also available for complete peace of mind. Bookings for the facelifted model started earlier this year with a token amount of Rs 25,000 through the official website or Hyundai dealerships.
