Hyundai Creta Achieves 1 Million Sales in India

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has announced a significant milestone for the Hyundai Creta, with sales reaching 1 million units in India. This achievement cements Creta’s position as the undisputed leader in its segment, selling one unit every five minutes.

Over the past eight years, the Hyundai CRETA has continuously evolved, adapting to changing customer preferences and market trends. This adaptability has enabled it to remain the best-selling mid-size SUV in India.

The Hyundai Creta, first launched in 2015, has consistently set industry standards with its comprehensive suite of features. The vehicle’s design is based on Hyundai’s Global Design Language of ‘Sensuous Sportiness’. The new Hyundai Creta exudes a bolder stance with a modern exterior design that blends functional and premium interiors2. This design philosophy has allowed the Creta to cater to the city requirements of the SUV segment.

The recently launched new Hyundai Creta has already received over 60,000 bookings within one month of its launch. This strong initial response indicates the sustained popularity of the brand among Indian customers and the potential for continued growth in the future.

The vehicle is equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, offering seamless integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also boasts a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, cruise control, and ventilated front seats. These features, coupled with the vehicle’s connected car tech and a wireless phone charger, have contributed to its popularity among customers.
