Hot Wheels, a popular toy / model car maker in India, probably the only mainstream brand of its kind worth its salt, is making its show debut at the 2018 Auto Expo. Owned by US based Mattel, a multinational toy making company, Hot Wheels has a cult following in India, and there are lakhs of enthusiasts who have fond memories of playing with the brand’s model cars. Quite a few of these have extensive collections too, our former colleague Gaurav Masurekar being an avid fan and collector himself.
For the 2018 Auto Expo, Hot Wheels has released sketches of two cars with a post teasing that they have something exciting in store at the Auto Expo for their fans. The post showcases two concepts which the fans can expect to see at the auto expo.
The concept sketches suggest two distinctively different cars; One looks like a brawny muscle hotrod with Hot Wheels’ signature flames decal and the other looks like a racer, sketch cues indicate a NASCAR like look. One look and you will know that these are pure-breed Hot Wheels original concepts.
With only a few days to go for the 2018 Auto Expo, the teaser spells excitement for the car-toy brand enthusiasts. Whatever is in store, however, count on Motoroids to get you all the updates from the Expo.
