We pictured it right from the beginning, and it’s happening for real now. The Honda Two Wheelers juggernaut is rolling, and how! It’s not been too long since Honda parted ways with market leader Hero. Nevertheless, the Japanese two-wheeler major is already breathing on its former partner’s shoulders. After briefly displacing the Splendor, the unquestioned emperor of the Indian two-wheeler market from its throne with its unassuming Activa scooter, Honda have achieved another milestone by selling a million specimens of its Dream series motorcycles.
Honda’s Dream series of motorcycles in India comprise of the terrific trio of the Dream Yuga, Dream Neo and the recently introduced CD 110 Dream. Stepping into the mainstream commuter motorcycle segment in 2012, Honda leveraged its impeccable reputation in India and Honda Eco Technology (HET) to make the Dream Yuga an established product.
In April 2013, Honda built on the success of the Dream Yuga with the launch of the 110cc Dream Neo. Despite the highly competitive market, the two products have become nationally accepted and appreciated brands and are now gunning for the top-spot glory. Very recently, as a part of strategic expansion in hinterland through the basic sub-segment of 100-110cc motorcycle- Honda launched its most affordable motorcycle in India – the CD 110 Dream.
To celebrate its 10 Lakh Dream series motorcycles milestone, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., announced the ‘One million Dream Celebration’ scheme, offering free insurance and attractive finance scheme of up to 100% loan to value, valid till 31st August 2014
