Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI), the 2nd largest 2Wheeler company in India, recorded highest ever domestic sales by crossing 3 lakhs and overall highest dispatch in the month of September 2013.
In September 2013, the company sold overall 328965 units as against 243126 units in September 2012, with motorcycle sales of 163229 units and Scooter sales of 165736 units registered this month.
Speaking on this progressive growth of HMSI, Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd. said, “Despite subdued demand in 2W industry, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has achieved record breaking sales of 328965 for the month of September 2013. This success majorly led by the overwhelming response for our Dream series motorcycles across India.”
Mr. Guleria added. “HET technology has been able to provide our customers with utmost satisfaction in terms of fuel efficiency. This is an added value for our customers at the same cost. With the approaching festive season, we are confident to sell higher numbers. Our endeavor is to meet the demand of our customers and maintain our growth momentum in the coming months as well”.
