Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has launched a Honda Mobilio with 5 seats. This S AT/MT base variant comes with a black dashboard/interiors and two rows of seats instead of three, which opens up a cavernous boot space of about 521 liters. The price for the S AT is 642,000 Baht and the S MT is 597,000 Bah- which translates to about 12 lakhs INR and 11.3 lakhs INR respectively.
In Thailand, the Honda Mobilio is powered by a 4-cylinder, 16-valve, 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine that delivers 120 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and maximum torque of 145 Newton-meters at 4,600 rpm, combined with a new CVT transmission. It is also equipped with a G-Force Control (G-CON) body; Anti-lock Braking System (ABS); Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD); Dual SRS Airbags; and a LED high-mounted stop lamp.
Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. sells 4 variants of the Mobilio MPV in Thailand- the V AT, the RS AT and this new base S MT & AT. Among four available variants in Thailand, only the base S MT variant gets a 5-speed manual transmission while the rest are blessed with a CVT gearbox.
