After many spy pics and renderings, the 2015 Honda CR-V facelift official image has finally hit the cyberspace. in the form of a couple of speculative renderings.
The changes on the 2015 Honda CR-V facelift include :
- New front bumper
- Trapezoidal fog lights
- LED accents
- New front grille design
- Revised tail-lights
- A lower bumper cladding similar to that on the Honda Jazz/Fit and City
In the Indian market, the CR-V is available only in the petrol version. There are rumors floating about Honda planning to equip the SUV with a diesel heart for the Indian market.Although the CR-V recently got a facelift in the Indian market, this facelift will come to us in the year 2016. The design changes also include aerodynamic upgrades to lower drag on the 2015 Honda CR-V facelift. A lower drag coefficient of the vehicle will translate into a higher fuel efficiency. In addition to the design upgrades, the Honda CR-V facelift will continue to be powered by same engines with minor upgrades.
The US model will continue to be powered by a 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder i-VTEC engine outputting 185 bhp (138 kW) and 163 lb-ft (221 Nm), while the Euro spec CR-V will have a 1.6-liter i-DTEC rated at 118 bhp (88 kW) and 221 lb-ft (300 Nm). The 2.2-liter i-DTEC with 148 bhp (110 kW) and 258 lb-ft (349 Nm) and the 2.0-liter i-VTEC rated at 148 bhp (110 kW) and 142 lb-ft (192 Nm) will also be offer with the facelifted model.
