Honda CB Unicorn Waiting Period Is 6 Months!

Added in: News

If you are planning to buy the Honda CB Unicorn and not gone to the showroom to book it, let us tell you that the waiting period for the CB Unicorn is nothing less than six months. Yes six months which mean almost half a year’s wait for the bike to arrive at your doorstep.

Honda says that the demand for the bike has substantially increased in recent times, the increase in the waiting period has nothing to do with the production as the production is constant.  After setting up its first manufacturing facility in Gurgaon with capacity of 16 lakh per annum, Honda also increased capacity with escalating demand for its products. To increase productivity and to address “long waiting periods”, Honda recently inaugurated a new facility at Tapukara, in Rajasthan, with an annual capacity of 12 lakh units. The company will invest over Rs 800 crore on the plant.

Honda witnessed a 5.89 per cent increase on motorcycles sales to 70,135 units in June, 2011, from 66,234 units in June, 2010. Total sales stood at 1,48,937 units in June, 2011, as against 1,45,973 units in the corresponding month of the previous year.

10 bhp, and torque, at equally baffling 5,100 rpm
