Honda Amaze Next-Gen Launch this Festive Season!

Honda gears up to launch the third generation of its smallest sedan, the Honda Amaze, this festive season set to hit the market around Diwali 2024

City and Elevate Fusion

The third-gen Amaze is poised to sit proudly on the advanced City and Elevate platform, undergoing modifications for optimal performance.

Notably, the wheelbase will be significantly shorter than its counterparts, a strategic move to keep the overall length under four meters.

This innovation not only marks a technological leap but also streamlines Honda’s India lineup onto a unified platform, fostering economies of scale.

Stylish Exterior, Inside and Out

While specifics about the new Amaze’s exterior remain under wraps, industry insiders hint at the continuation of Honda’s signature stylish design cues.

Drawing inspiration from larger Honda sedans sold globally, the third-gen model is expected to mirror the elegance of its predecessors, with whispers suggesting a nod to the iconic Accord’s design philosophy.

Inside the cabin, anticipate a fresh layout, possibly featuring a spacious, free-standing touchscreen akin to the Elevate model.

To maintain cost efficiency, Honda may incorporate interior components shared with other models available in the Indian market.

Petrol-Only Powertrain

Under the hood, the third-gen Amaze is set to continue the petrol-only tradition, carrying forward the reliable 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine from its predecessor.

Generating 90hp and 110Nm of torque, this powerhouse will be coupled with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox.

Launching into Diwali 2024

As previously reported, the much-anticipated Honda Amaze is slated for launch in the second half of this year, aligning with the festive fervor around Diwali 2024. Upon its debut, the third-gen Amaze will go head-to-head with competitors like the upcoming Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor, offering consumers a compelling choice in the subcompact sedan segment.
