BYD Auto India has officially opened bookings for its much-anticipated Seal EV sedan in India

BYD Seal Pricing and Specifications
The BYD Seal is expected to hit the Indian market on March 5, with an anticipated ex-showroom price of around Rs 50 lakh. Boasting an 82.5kWh battery pack and rear-wheel drive.
The electric motor, generating 230hp and 360Nm, allows the sedan to sprint to 100kph in just 5.9 seconds.
Range and Charging Capability
The Seal’s 82.5kWh battery pack delivers an impressive 570km range on the WLTP cycle. Charging convenience is also a highlight, with a 150kW charger taking the battery from 10-80 percent in a mere 37 minutes.
For standard charging, an 11kW charger will fully charge the battery in approximately 8.6 hours. These features position the BYD Seal as a versatile and efficient electric vehicle.
Design and Interior Features
Drawing inspiration from the Ocean X concept of 2021, the BYD Seal embodies the brand’s distinctive “ocean aesthetics” design language.
Inside, the sedan boasts a rotating 15.6-inch infotainment display in the center console, complemented by a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver and a heads-up display.
