Honda Activa Premium Edition Launched At ₹75,400

After a long series of teasers, Honda has finally launched the much-in-news premium variant of its most loved scooter Activa. The premium edition of Activa is launched with a price tag of ₹ 75,400. The Activa premium gets many cosmetic changes to make it look more upmarket. This makes it costlier than the current Activa 6G which has a starting price of ₹72,400 for the standard variant and goes all the way to ₹74,400 (ex. showroom) for the Deluxe variant.

Honda plans to aim at the younger generation with this new model. To make it even more attractive and premium, it gets golden color touch-ups, like the Golden colored wheels. The turn indicators also get a golden-coated chrome garnish. Adding a more premium feel, the Honda logo also gets a golden finish. Coming to the side, the golden touch continues with the ‘Activa Premium’ logo. Even the front 12-inch and rear 10-inch steel wheels get a contrasting gold shade.

The inner body of the Activa premium edition gets a contrasting shade of brown color. Unlike the standard black seats, this premium edition comes with a brown-colored seat that seamlessly matches the shade of the inner body. The Activa premium also gets an option for personalization. The Activa Premium comes with three color options namely Mat Marshal Green Metallic, Mat Sangria Red Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue.

Since this model features only cosmetic changes, the powertrain remains the same. The power of the Activa comes from the same tried and tested engine, a 109.51 cc fan-cooled motor producing 7.80 ps of power at 8,000 rpm and 8.84 nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. It has a telescopic front and 3-step adjustable spring-loaded rear suspension. It also comes with 130 mm drum brakes for both front and rear. Other features include ESP technology, silent starts, programmed fuel injection, engine start-stop switch, LED DC headlamp, external fuel cap, and large instrument console It comes with a 5.3-liter fuel tank and a kerb weight of 106 kg. With its golden color elements and eye-catching color combinations, the new Activa premium edition will compete with rivals like the TVS-Jupiter.
