Hero Xtreme 160R 2022 Edition Launched At ₹1.17 Lakh

Hero MotoCorp recently announced the launch of the Xtreme 160R 2022 edition. As Hero mentioned, the new Xtreme 160R is all about chasing speed. This entry-level street motorcycle comes with new updates yet the company has not changed its price. Continuing with the same price tag, the Xtreme 160R 2022 is available at Rs 1,17,148 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The updates include a useful gear position indicator on its negatively lit LCD instrument cluster with 5-level LCD brightness adjustment as standard in all three variants; Before it was only available on the Stealth edition. The Xtreme 160R now gets a redesigned revised seat and a redesigned pillion grabrail for a more comfortable ride. Other details include a full LED set with a Hi-octane Droid headlamp, LED position lamp, LED tail lamp, and LED winkers.

At heart, the Xtreme 160R is still the same. The motorcycle gets its power from a 163cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which produces 15.2 ps and 14 nm of torque. Just as previously it comes with a five-speed gearbox, while the suspension hardware includes a 37 mm telescopic fork and preload-adjustable mono-shock. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds.

Xtreme 160R comes in three variants first is a single disc variant which comes with a 130mm drum brake at the rear. The second and third are dual-disc and Stealth Edition with a 276mm front and 220mm rear petal disc but it only gets single-channel ABS. while the prices of these variants are Rs. 1,17,148 of base variant Xtreme 160R Single Disc, Rs 1,20,498 for the Xtreme 160R Dual Disc, and Rs 1,22,338 for the top variant Xtreme 160R Stealth

Xtreme 160R comes with stylish accessories like a Grip cover, step women, engine guard, Hugger fender, and seat cover. While the color options of this motorcycle include Sport Red, Pearl Silver White, and Vibrant Blue. With brand new updates, the Xtreme 160R will compete against the likes of Bajaj Pulser N160, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, and Yamaha FZ.
