Hero XPulse 200 And Xpulse 200T Launched From INR 94,000

Finally, after a rather long wait, Hero has launched the new Xpulse 200 family of bikes. To be sold in 2 variants – an off-road biased Xpulse 200 and a road biased Xpulse 200 T. As a surprise, the brand also launched a third motorcycle, the Hero Xtreme 200 R. These motorcycles will be offered at a very attractive price point, INR 94,000 for the Xpulse 200T, INR 97,000 for the carburetted variant of the Xpulse 200 and INR 1,05,000 for the fuel injected variant of the Xpulse 200. These two motorcycles share the same platform and engine but offer different dynamics to suit two different applications. Powering these two motorcycles is a 200 cc, single cylinder motor. This motor is tuned to produce 18.4 PS of maximum power 17.1 Nm of torque.

The Xpulse 200 is dynamic on and off-road motorcycle, targetted at the young and thrill-seeking riding enthusiast. Using a high tensile steel diamond frame, offering responsive handling on any terrain. Up front is a 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch wheel at the rear. Suspension duties are done by a conventional telescopic suspension in the front which has 190 mm of travel and a ten-step adjustable monoshock which has 190 mm of travel. This motorcycle will also come with many features including LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn by turn navigation, gear indicator and much more. This motorcycle is offered with a carburetted and fuel injected engine. Illumination duties are done by LEDs all around. The fuel injected model will be offered in 3 colours – Matte Green, Pearl Fadeless White and Matte Axis Grey. The carburetted variant of the will be offered in Sports Red and Black.

The Xpulse 200 T, on the other hand, takes a more road biased approach. Aimed towards youngsters who want the right amalgamation of modern-retro composition and ease of riding. Just like the Xpulse 200, the 200T too, comes with many features including LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn by turn navigation, gear indicator and much more. Unlike the Xpulse 200, the 200 T will only come with the carburetted engine. This bike will also come with large pillion grip, with tie-points and luggage plate with rubber pads. A single channel ABS is also on offer on this bike. This motorcycle will be offered in Candy Blazing Red, Black, Matte Shield Gold and Matte Axis Gray.
