Hero MotoCorp has reported that the Splendor iSmart has clocked a mileage of 102.50 kilometer per litre of petrol, making it the world’s most fuel-efficient bike and setting a new global benchmark in fuel efficiency. These FE values are certified by the iCAT (International Centre for Automotive Technology) and obtained in the mandatory emission test specified in Rule 115 of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules (CMVR) 1989, under controlled conditions using a reference fuel at an agency authorized by Rule 126 of the said Rules. iCAT is a division of NATRIP Implementation Society (NATIS) of the government of India.
Splendor, consisting of a range of popular brands such as Splendor+, Splendor Pro, Splendor Pro Classic, the 125cc Super Splendor and Splendor iSmart – is the largest selling motorcycle brand in the world with over two million unit sales every year.
Splendor iSmart comes with a 100-cc air-cooled, 4 Stroke Single Cylinder OHC engine that delivers maximum power of 5.74 KW (7.8 Ps) at 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 0.82 Kg-m (8.04 N-M) @ 4500 rpm. Developed in-house by Hero MotoCorp, Splendor iSmart comes with i3S (Idle Stop and Start System) – a technology that automatically shuts the engine when idling and turns it on, when needed, with a simple press of the clutch, giving more mileage in congested cities. The iSmart is available in two different variant drum self-spoke & self-Cast at Ex-showroom price of Rs. 50,000 and Rs.51,100.

I have been using Hero Ismart since 3 months, mileage is 65kmpl as claimed against 102kmpl, average performance but great looking bike.
No Doubt that the Hero I smart Has Created a new Benchmark in the fuel Efficiency and Clocked a Mileage of 102Km.Good Style.Fuel Consumption Efficiency is there.Awesome Style.Happy With Hero I Smart.And Good Release From Hero.
I like hero I smart
Splendor iSmart, no doubt, it is a good looking, stylish and much attractive “Hero” but in performance it is “Zero”.
Sharing here one year ownership Experience.
Mileage:- Very poor, just 50 KMPL, against claimed 100 KMPL (it is just a rumour).
Suspension:- Very bad, just in 7,000 KM, both (Front & Rear) shockers are making noise but for the workshop person it is normal noise.
Longest 5 Years warranty:- It is just to show in ground reality if failure comes the parts are non-warrantable as claim the workshop person.
Spare Parts Cost:- It is more than double of an assembled bike. A low cost car like Eon, Alto etc. could be maintained in the same cost of maintenance of this Bike.
Service :- Very poor.
