Indonesia Downhill Championship being one of the most prestigious cycling competitions in all of Asia is undoubtedly a golden opportunity for Indian riders to participate.
To encourage Indian cyclist on the global platform and also to promote this back home in India, Hero Cycles, the world’s largest cycle manufacturer, has come out to support Globeracers – the first Indian team to participate in Indonesia Downhill Championship 2013.
This sponsorship is an extension of the many endeavours that Hero Cycles have been initiating over the years to promote cycling in India through their premium sports bike brand called Urban Trail. This move will boost the confidence of the two Indian riders participating as Globeracers at the championship and will empower them to perform at their level best and make the country proud.
The championship is scheduled to be held on October 25 & October 26, 2013 in Indonesia. It opens gates to breathtaking riding extravaganza for all the spectators with over 300 competitive riders. The Indonesia Downhill Championship has come across as one of the most competitive events in professional riding that helps riders to keep the sportsmanship alive and improve the performance with every event.
“We are more than happy to sponsor Globeracers at the Indonesia Downhill Championship 2013. There participation in an international event like this is trend-setting and encouraging for all the budding cyclists back home in India”, says Mr. Raman Awasthi, Sales Head at UrbanTrail Cycles Ltd.
