We reported in detail when Nissan India launched the new 2013 Nissan Micra in the Indian market. Now, Nissan India has published the TVC for the 2013 Micra hatchback.
Unlike the pre facelift Micra’s TVC, the updated car’s TVC doesn’t show a Bollywood star and instead stresses on car’s handling prowess and overall fun-to-drive character. The TVC also shows car’s new start/stop button, along with giving us a glimpse of the updated interiors.
Powering the updated 2013 Nissan Micra facelift is the same set of petrol and diesel motors that power the outgoing model. The petrol variant of the new 2013 Micra is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, petrol engine that has a max power output of 76ps@ 6000rpm and a max torque of 104Nm@4000rpm.
The petrol variant gets a new CVT gearbox. This CVT ‘box has been derived from that on the Sunny. This gearbox enables the car to deliver a slightly increased power output of 77ps. The CVT variant also endows the car with a fuel economy of 19.34 kmpl, which is slightly more than manual variant’s 18.44 kmpl.
The diesel variant of the car continues to be powered by the Renault sourced 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine that has a max power of 64ps@4000 RPM and a peak torque output of 160nm@2000rpm.
