The new generation 2014 Mercedes Benz S Class has to be the most discussed upcoming luxury cars of recent times. Recently, we posted leaked brochure images and the specs of the next gen S Class and regulars here would remember that only yesterday, we came up with a teaser image of the upcoming luxury sedan that the boffins at Mercedes recently published. Now, we have a video of the next gen S Class and it is easy to make out that the teaser image that we posted yesterday is actually a screenshot of a part of this video.

The new Mercedes Benz S Class 2014 will be unveiled in Germany on May 15 (Wednesday).

The new luxury sedan has been codenamed as the W222 and is expected to up the ante in the luxury car market with its ultra-modern technology and gizmos, high luxury quotient and safety features that have never been heard of before.

Powering the 2014 S Class are a set of motors that have been borrowed from the last gen model. These engines have been re-tuned to offer higher performance and fuel economy and lower tail pipe emissions. The engines are expected to come mated to a new 9 speed automatic gearbox that benefits from terrain sensing technology.
