The Gulf logo will feature on the jersey of the team across all their matches and communications. Captain of the Indian team as well as Rising Pune Supergiants, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, along with Faf du Plessis, Ajinkya Rahane and Ravi Chawla, Managing Director, Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd unveiled the jersey bearing the Gulf logo. Gulf Oil is closely associated with cricket in India and particularly with teams participating in the Indian Premier League.
Rising Pune Supergiants will be one of the most exciting cricket teams in the IPL with stalwarts like Kevin Pieterson, Faf du Plassis, Steven Smith, R Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane in a team led by captain MS Dhoni and coached by Stephen Fleming.
