After concluding a nerve-racking Round 3, JK Tyre Volkswagen Vento Cup will be back at Buddh International Circuit (BIC), Greater Noida for the grand finale of the 2015 season. While the first three rounds of the Volkswagen Vento Cup 2015 witnessed a fair share of outstanding performances, the final round will be the real test of skills and mental strength, especially for the top three drivers who are battling for the championship honours. With only 50 points separating them, Anindith Reddy from Hyderabad, Delhi boy Karminder Pal Singh and another Hyderabad lad Ishan Dodhiwala will push their limits to lift the prestigious Vento Cup 2015 championship trophy on Sunday. The Junior Cup category drivers will keep the action alive in the middle order as they will fight to win the Junior Cup honours and thus a free seat in Vento Cup 2016.
Volkswagen Motorsport ambassador, former 24 hour Le Mans and Nürburgring champion and F1 driver, Hans-Joachim Stuck, will join for the Round 4 to share his experiences from his racing career of over 42 years. He will also guide the championship drivers through the weekend and help them find the faster way around the circuit as they prepare for the ultimate races of the year. Also racing with the Indian racers in the final round will be two guest drivers from Volkswagen Polo Cup China 2015 – Zhang Qianshang & Yang Shuo.
“JK Tyre Volkswagen Vento Cup has so far witnessed splendid performances from all the racers including newcomers. We have seen the drivers improve over the course of the season. With the championship still open, in both overall and junior category, the last round promises to treat us with intense battles” said Mr. Sirish Vissa, Head of Volkswagen Motorsport India. He further added, “With Hans-Joachim Stuck, we have a legend with us for the last round who, with his 42 years of rich Motorsport experience, will be the perfect guide to our drivers. Also, the top two racers from China will add that extra flavour to the weekend!”
