His penchant for speed and exotic machinery is already well known among car lovers in the country. Now, representing India at the world’s biggest Ferrari event – Gautam Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director, Raymond Limited qualified 4th in his category – Coppa Shell today. Running 3rd for the majority of the race in his 458 Challenge, he finished 4th in his category and 12th overall (Trofeo and Coppa Shell) out of 43 participants who took part in this challenge across the globe. Since this is the first time Ferrari Finali Mondiali is taking place outside Europe; it is being hosted at the Yas Marina Circuit, one of the world’s most state of the art racing venues designed by Hermann Tilke and situated on Yas Island, about 30 minutes from the capital of the UAE, Abu Dhabi.
Over 250 Ferraris will grace the event, celebrating the great heritage of the iconic Italian car maker as well as the technological advancements it has achieved today. Spectators will also be treated with a Ferrari Parade that will run throughout the entire 5.5 km long Yas Marina Circuit. Plus fans will witness F1 cars along with Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 team drivers.
