(Little Indian Family of Explorers) will set out for a journey of a lifetime, when the family of five, including their Fiat Linea T-Jet will travel from Bangalore to Paris by road. Traversing across 12+ Countries, 15000+ kms, all in a short period of 99 days. During this journey, the team will travel through Nepal, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Switzerland (Alps), Spain, finally making it to Paris.
The family of 5 adventurists includes Anand Baid, 38 a film-maker, animation professional and educator at Native Puppets; Punita Baid, 36 who is the program manager at Native Puppets; Yash Baid, 12, a grade 6 student and an avid football lover; Dhriti Baid, 8, grade 2 student, aspiring foreign language linguist, dancer and their 5th special family member, the sturdy Fiat Linea T- Jet.
Team L.I.F.E will also make it easy for anyone who plans such an overland trip in the future, as the entire expedition will be shot into a documentary, covering all bases of planning, with valuable tips for fellow travelers, preparation details of the trip, challenges faced and the memorable times they have together as a family. The family will flag off some tough terrains likes mountains in Kyrgyzstan, live crater in Turkmenistan, the intricate Persian architecture in Iran, swimming in the Black Sea at Turkey, driving in the Alps in Switzerland and ending their journey with the beautiful art and culture of France.
