The fourth edition of Royal Enfield Tour of Nepal is scheduled to be flagged off from April 26th, 2015. The international ride, which will comprise 30 riders will span 2200 km and 14 days. The ride through the Hindu nation will traverse some uncharted terrains of the Himalayan range.
To be flagged off from Lucknow, the Tour of Nepal will see the participants riding through some of the most scenic mountains forming the famous Annapurna ranges. The route has been chalked out specifically to challenge the riders with the winding mountain roads, water crossings & slush, gravel tracks, cross narrow suspension bridges as well as straight stretches through some pristine forests.
The Tour of Nepal promises to excite and offers a new motorcycling frontier to conquerfor the riders. The ride offers newer motorcycling adventures and a variety of riding terrains to the participants which makes The Tour of Nepal an experience of a lifetime.
The riders will ride through the panoramic view of the Himalayas from Lucknow through Bhairhawa, Pokhra, Kalopani, Muktinath, Tatopani and, Kathmandu, Kodari, Nagarkot, Chitwana and finally back to Lucknow.
Some interesting points enroute would be Jomsom, which until recently was just a Trekking trail; the picturesque ride along the Tibetan plateau to Kodari, Chitwan National park and Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha.
