Force Motors have launched their Trax Cruiser and Toofan people movers in a new, Deluxe variant. A popular passenger transport model in rural and semi urban India, the Trax is known for its rugged character and generous space inside the cabin.
The new Deluxe variants get new features to offer more comfort and convenience to the occupants along with mild stylistic upgrades on the inside and out.
To start with, the new variant of the Trax now gets air-conditioning to bring some respite to the passengers in the sweltering hot Indian conditions. In order to ensure uniform cooling, AC ducts with independent compressor and control are provided in the front as well as in the center of the passenger compartment.
Another change made to the models in the new, wide extended foot-board on the sides to ensure comfortable entry and exit for the elderly, small children and sari clad women. The Trax, in the Deluxe version also gets a new front grill, new front and rear bumpers and a new set of round headlights. Other changes on the exterior include the new graphics on the side, flared wheel arches and new wheel caps.
On the inside, the vehicle gets a new two-tone interior with a new instrument cluster along with a new dash board. The changes have been made to somewhat freshen up the archaic looking dash of the people mover.
Powering the Trax Deluxe is a Mercedes OM616 derived, 2.6ltr, 81hp turbo-charged engine with 230Nm Torque @1800-2000rpm. Trax Deluxe is available nationwide through Force Motors’ Commercial Vehicle Dealers network and comes with a 3 years / 3 Lac kms warranty with 7 free services.
In Maharashtra the Trax price range starts from Rs. 8, 68,515 ex showroom.
