Fiat Punto Facelift Spied Again; Interior Pics and Details here

We reported in detail when the Fiat Punto facelift was caught on test in India for the first time. Now, a TAI member Tornado has caught the Punto facelift in Pune. He has managed to click the interior pictures which reveal new details about the facelift’s interiors.

The Fiat Punto facelift India launch will happen this year and will merely be a cosmetic upgrade.

As can be seen in the pics, the car will boast of a new dashboard design, with a dual tone black-beige combination. The car will also get a a new center console and a revised instrument cluster.

Coming to the exteriors, the Fiat Punto facelift will come with new headlamps and a redesigned front bumper. The front grille and the fog lamps on the car are new. Speaking about the rear section, the new Fiat Punto facelift will come with new tail lamps and a redesigned rear bumper. Seen here in the pic is the new alloy design, which is very similar to the one seen on the Abarth Punto.

The new Fiat Punto facelift will come with the same engines and transmissions. The diesel engine duty will be done by the popular 1.3 liter Multijet diesel engine, which is available in two states of tune- 75bhp and 90bhp. The petrol Fiat Punto facelift will be powered by the 1.2 and 1.4 liter engines producing 68bhp and 90bhp respectively. All the engines will come with a 5 speed manual transmission.

    After such a long wait… Just a set of new bumpers..? Yes the interiors are really refreshing. But we really were waiting for some more engine options. Looks like i dont have enough reason to change my existing punto!
