We have been reporting in detail about the Fiat Punto facelift. The car has been again spotted by us in Pune. We have lost the number of counts the car has been spotted in Pune by eagle-eyed readers.
The recent spotting suggests the Fiat Punto facelift India launch will be happening in the second half of this year. Fiat has recently declared that it will bring a total of 4 products in the Indian market, of which, the Linea facelift has been already launched earlier this week. The remaining 3 products are- Avventura, 500 Abarth (which will come via the CBU route) and the Punto facelift.
As already stated, the Punto facelift will come with the same hardware as of the outgoing model, which includes :
- 1.3 liter Multijet diesel engine, which comes in two states of tune- 75 bhp-197 Nm and 90 bhp-209 Nm
- 1.2 liter petrol mill producing 68 bhp-96 Nm
- 1.4 liter petrol mill producing 90 bhp-115 Nm
On the exterior, the facelifted model will feature new headlamps and a revised bumper. The car also gets a new front grille and new fog lamps. On the rear, the car gets a new set of tail lamps and a revised bumper. Inside, the Punto facelift will feature a new dashboard with a dual tone black-beige combination. The central console and instrument cluster has also been changed.
The test mule, seen here in the images, is the top variant. The model features the new Abarth inspired alloy wheel design. The base and middle variants get different wheels.
