We have been reporting in detail about the Fiat Punto facelift. After recently spotting the car last week, another image of the car has surfaced on the cyberspace. We have lost the count the car has been spotted on test in Pune. The Fiat Punto facelift India launch will happen this year. As already reported by us, the facelift will come with the same mechanicals.
The Fiat Punto facelift will sport a new dashboard design, with a dual tone black-beige combination. The car will also get a new centre console and a revised instrument console.
On the exterior, the car will come with a new set of headlamps and a redesigned front bumper. Also, the front grille and the fog lamps on the car are new. On the rear section, the Fiat Punto facelift will come with a new set of tail lamps and a redesigned bumper.
As aforementioned, the car will come with the same engines and transmission. The diesel engine on the car will be the popular 1.3-litre Multijet motor, which is available in two states of tune- 75 bhp and 90 bhp. The petrol engines on the car will be the same 1.2 and 1.4-litre mills, which produce 68 bhp and 90 bhp respectively. All the engines will come with a 5-speed manual transmission. Although Fiat sells the Punto with an automatic transmission in Europe, we don’t see Fiat making it available here anytime soon.
