Its Ferrari’s second innings in India, as the first was abruptly terminated due to unscrupulous practices of the appointed dealer. While the iconic Italian marquee, post its Indian re-entry in August 2015, had already started taking orders for its entire range, official dealerships still weren’t in place. A handful of cars have even been delivered.
Ferrari had already chosen two private dealers in New Delhi (Select Cars Pvt. Ltd. – Mathura Road) and Mumbai (Navnit Motors – Bandra Kurla Complex) to cater to its well-heeled customers. Now, official word is out that the New Delhi dealership will start operations on November 30; while the Mumbai dealership will open its doors on December 1.
The Maranello based brand sells its entire range in India, which include the California T, the 488 GTB Coupe, the f12berlinetta and the FF. A couple of outgoing models – the 458 Spider and Speciale – were also available for order until now. The new 488 Spider is also expected to join the list soon, while a single unit of the hardcore f12TDF is also rumoured to be on its way.
The following are the ex-showroom (Mumbai) prices:
- Ferrari California T Convertible – INR 3.30 Crore
- Ferrari 488 GTB Coupe – INR 3.84 Crore
- Ferrari 458 Spider – INR 4.07 Crore
- Ferrari 458 Speciale – INR 4.25 Crore
- Ferrari F12 Berlinetta – INR 4.72 Crore
Only the LaFerrari hypercar is not included in this list, as all 499 units have already been accounted for. However, if this bit of news does spur certain desires, and your Swiss bank balance agrees, you have to wait until next year, as all the twenty allotted cars for India are reportedly sold out.
