Four-time F1 world champion Sebastian Vettel, who has signed a three-year deal with Ferrari following Fernando Alonso’s exit from the Italian F1 team has been spotted testing with Ferrari for the first time since signing with the Formula One team. We bring you these exclusive images of the German driver who was seen piloting an F2012 from two seasons ago at Ferrari’s private Fiorano circuit, marking his first appearance with Ferrari.

To commemorate the event, Vettel wore a white helmet that had the words, ‘My first day at Ferrari’ plus Saturday’s date, written on it. The 27-year-old has a lot on his shoulders, with the Ferrari having just concluded its first season without a win since 1993. Even though Vettel’s stint with Ferrari was announced ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and he was present in the garage during the post-race test, he was barred from test driving the F14 T by Red Bull.

However, now it seems Vettel has got his hands on the F2012, with F1 testing regulations allowing the running of a two-year-old car, as  work continues on Ferrari’s F1 contender for 2015. Head to the gallery below for more exclusive images of Sebastial Vettel lapping the Fiorano in the F2012.
