Fortuner, Innova and Altis. They all wear the Toyota badge and they are in a demand enough to avoid offering any discounts. However, heading the lower segment way seems to have made the brand to do away with some of its premium-ness. This may be depicted from the discounts that Toyota dealers are offering to boost sales of the new Etios Sedan and the its Liva Hatchback. The discounts are being offered by Toyota dealers in form of offering insurance at INR 1 on the petrol variants of both the Toyota Etios Sedan and the Liva Hatchback.
However, no such discounts are being offered on te oil burning variants of both the Etios sedan & hatchback variant buyers have another reason to smile. Along with the INR 1 insurance, dealers are also offering exchange bonus on the petrol versions of the Etios Sedan and the Liva Hatchback, if one decides to exchanges his old car for the petrol Etios variants.
