Hyderabad-based Eider motors step foot in the automotive industry last year by launching six new two-wheelers in India. The bike maker has set up 25 dealerships in the country including two in Maharashtra. The product portfolio comprised two wheelers with interestingly unusual names such as – Huddi, Big Boy, Jetmax Scooter, Zaara, Adonis 125, Dronzer, Ruddy, Stoic, Etania and Leora 150. In addition to all of these rides the company has launched their all-new offering in India the – CFMOTO 650NK. The new bike is actually a product of China-based CFMOTO that has been introduced in India by Eider Motors and will be retailed through their dealerships.

The Eider Motors CFMOTO 650 NK draws power from a 649.3cc Liquid-cooled DOHC 8-valve parallel-twin four-stroke engine that is equipped with 180-degree crankshaft, chain camshaft drive and single gear-driven counter balancer. It is housed in a tubular steel diamond frame chassis that employs engine as a fully-stressed member. The engine is assisted by electronic fuel injection and kicks out 55.9 Bhp of power at 9,500rpm and 62Nm of twist at 7,000rpm. A 6-speed gearbox floors the power to the rear wheel. The power figure is said to be restricted under the LAMS guidelines.

The front suspension kit consists of Kyaba 41mm telescopic forks that have a max travel of 120mm and the rear is aided with an extruded steel swing arm with tubular steel bracing and a Kyaba cantilever mono shock that has a max travel of 45mm. The braking duties are executed by two 300mm steel discs with twin-piston callipers in the front and a 240mm single disc with a single-piston calliper at the rear. The CFMOTO 650 NK rides on 17-inch cast aluminium wheels that are shod with 120/70ZR17 and 160/60ZR17 Continental Road Attack 2 rubber on the front and the rear respectively. The bike measures 2120mm in length, 780mm wide and 1100mm in height. The wheelbase, seat height and minimum ground clearance remain at 1415mm, 795mm and 150mm correspondingly.

The CFMOTO 650 NK tips the weighing scale at 193kg when dry and once loaded with the necessary liquids it weighs at 206kgs. The bike is available for a price of INR 3,37,130, further, there are no details of the colour options and accessories. How well does this Chinese origin middleweight fighter perform is still a question, but for the price it sells it surely has no competition it the class. The performance figures are decent (considering its price), but it is about time to see how much attention it will grab on the roll.
