Eicher Polaris , a joint venture between Eicher Motors and Polaris Industries, launched Multix in Odisha at a price tag starting at INR 3,43,000 (Ex-Showroom, Bhubaneshwar). The Multix will be available in two variants (AX+ and MX) and four colors in the state. In Odisha, the model will be available in Bhubaneshwar, Cuttak, Sambalpur and Berhampur to start with.
According to the company, the Multix offers the unique power of extreme adaptability to consumers and is designed and engineered to suit family, business and power generation needs of the consumer. It is said that the model has a generous cabin space that can comfortably seat a family of five along with luggage. The personal utility vehicle can be adapted to create a storage space of 1918 litres. The vehicle can be configured for seating a family to larger boot space in order to cater to the business needs of the consumer.
Equipped with Pro Ride – Independent suspension system, the Eicher Polaris Multix is powered by a diesel engine,and is claimed to give a mileage of 27 kmpl. It has a tubular frame structure and Roll-Over Protection System (ROPS) that provides structural stability. The vehicle also features a Flexituff body. With the X-PORT technology, the user can generate power up to 3 KW, and can be used for lighting homes and powering equipment such as drilling machines, DJ systems, water pumps and more.
The company has entered into a tie–up with IndusInd Bank, Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company (Chola), Punjab and Sind Bank, Hinduja Leyland Finance and Shriram Finance to extend auto retail finance options upto 90% of the vehicle’s price. Furthermore, consumers can also avail special advance booking package at INR 2999.
