Edo Competition Motorsport GmbH has put up a brand new, one-off Ferrari 458 Italia for sale. This specific 458 Italia is dedicated to racing legend Niki Lauda and has been created through company’s tailor made customisation unit.
This one-off Ferrari was first seen in November 2013 when the Italian car maker revealed it after the release of the 2013 biographical sports drama film “Rush”. The movie was based on the rivalry between race car drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda during the 1976 Formula One motoring season.
Ferrari’s Tailor made division, along with personal designer from the Maranello style center designed this one-off custom made 458 Italia. The car dons a white top with Italian flag at the center of the roof. The wheels have been painted golden while the front bumpers along with the side skirts and rear spoiler get white strips. On the inside, the center unit between the two seats also dons a Italian flag.
However, this Ferrari has only received cosmetic changes while the powermill remains the same 4.5-litre V8 engine that produces 561 bhp of power and 540Nm of torque. The car propels from naught to 100 kph in about 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 325 kph.
The car is a completely new, unused unit as the seller, Edo Competition Motorsport GmbH, mentions mileage as 5 kilometers and is priced at 285,000 euros.
