DICV to export first range of completely-built Fuso trucks to Thailand

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, along with Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, announced the start of delivery of DICV-made Fuso mixers (FJ 2528C) to Thailand, one of the key strategic markets for the company in Asia. With this range of completely-built trucks with concrete mixer bodies, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles steps into one of the most important sectors in Thailand – the concrete construction equipment segment.

Speaking on the occasion, Erich Nesselhauf, CEO and Managing Director, DICV said, “With the delivery of the first Fuso concrete mixer trucks to Thailand we underline that we are continuously expanding our export business. These new Fuso mixers are built-up to suit perfectly to the customers’ requirements in the important construction sector. The roll-out from our production line in Oragadam shows once more our flexibility in manufacturing trucks which are especially customized to industry requirement.”

The new Fuso FJ2528C 6X4 with 280 HP engine output promises to be the ideal base for the one-stop tailor made concrete mixer which has a drum capacity of 6 cbm or 7 cbm according to customer’s needs. Being ‘ready to use’ means the customer starts getting returns from the day of purchase and the quality is assured through stringent quality checks with Daimler standards. Providing many comfort features for the driver like air conditioned cabin, air suspended seats, power windows and central locking; these robust trucks are especially developed to meet the customer expectations in growth markets. The concrete mixer concept is expected to be a game changer in the construction equipment segment.
