Twiste Pass Motorycle Rally 2013

This year’s Twister Pass Motorcycle Tour’s route consists of a beautiful mix of the high altitude valleys and lakes in the Himalayas. The tour will start in Delhi and will wind its way to Shimla, the winter capital of pre-Independence India. From there, the tour enters the beautiful Sangla Valley set amidst apple orchards and misty mountaintops. The journey into the remote yet beautiful Spiti Valley is sure to leave its mark on all of the riders as they traverse the dust trails along the Spiti River into remote Kaza.

Stay in The Spiti Valley should offer the riders a chance to explore the Himalayas, century old monasteries, a chance to spot some rare wildlife (blue sheep) and enjoy the warmth of Kaza, a village that is accessible only 4 months in a year. From there, the riders will make their way into Leh over 5 of the worlds highest passes. From Leh the tour will take the riders into Srinagar, to enjoy the picturesque Dal Lake. The route from Srinagar back to Delhi will have see a stop over at Amritsar, to take in the Golden Temple and the international border of India and Pakistan.
