Datsun India has received over 10,000 bookings for its latest product, the redi-GO, since its launch last month. A large portion of the bookings have come from metropolitan areas and tier 2 cities. This reportedly reflects redi-GO’s ‘urban-cross’ spirit—a fusion of compact crossover and hatchback.
The Datsun redi-GO is available at 227 Nissan and Datsun sales touchpoints across India with a price tag beginning at Rs. 2.39 Lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). According to the company, the car showcases Japanese design elements expressing ‘YUKAN’, meaning brave and bold. The new redi-GO is said to deliver a fuel economy of 25.17 kmpl. The model comes with a 2 year/unlimited km standard warranty.
Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India said that the Datsun redi-GO is bringing a lot of new energy and freshness to the entry car segment. Its design and features are getting noticed as more and more customers choose to go with redi-GO.
“We have started deliveries of redi-GOs this month to customers across the country and are delighted by the way Datsun redi-GO is being embraced by the younger generation in the country”, Malhotra further added.
