The excitement of the new Honda CBR650F was somewhat shortened due to the absence of the new CBR300R. Instead, Honda introduced the cosmetically updated CBR150 and CBR250R with new colour and graphic option and a new set of MRF rubber – that’s all about the updates. Both motorcycles carry forward the same, unchanged power plant and miss out no twin-headlight design that is available overseas.
Updates on both the motorcycles, CBR150R and CBR250R, include a dual tone paint job and new set of graphics. Mechanically, the Honda CBR150R continues with the 149.4cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine that delivers 18.5PS of power and 12.66Nm of torque. The Honda CBR250R carries forward it 249.6cc liquid Cooled, four-Stroke, SI engine that delivers 26PS of power and 22.9Nm of torque.
Honda did not announce the prices for the CBR150R and CBR250R.
Honda has hinted that they would bring the new CBR300R to India sometime next year but that’s all the details Honda revealed at the RevFest.
