I, hereby, confess that I am truly, deeply and madly in love with Ferraris. So much, that I often fantasize driving an Italia on a winding road, with the exhaust playing the perfect music to me.So, any news regarding these sportscars should excite me and numerous other Ferrari fans to no extent. Now, I take immense pleasure in telling the readers that to celebrate the 60th anniversary of their first Formula 1 victory, Ferrari is working on launching a special edition 599 GTB Fiorano.
Christened as the 60F1, the model is fully based on the Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione (HGTE) handling package equipped 599. The upcoming Ferrari will be available in trims that will pay homage to Formula 1 cars driven by Fernando Alonso and Froilan Gonzalez (winner of 1951 British GP). Besides the exciting paint schemes, the cars will feature Scuderia Ferrari shields, aluminum fuel cover and aesthetically alluring 20-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin will feature the Alcantara upholstery (standard feature in all upmarket cars), Alutex trim and plates engraved with the signatures of Gonzalez and Alonso.
