The Chevrolet Cruze WTCC car has been very successful in the World Touring Car Championship. The WTCC Chevrolet team has won both the Constructors and Driver Championships three times in a row now.
In order to celebrate the success and to capitalize on the WTCC spec car’s fan following, Chevrolet has launched the Cruze WTCC Edition in Chinese car market.
The Chevrolet Cruze WTCC Edition comes equipped with a body kit that gets new side skirts, race-inspired graphics, new rear bumper and a new boot spoiler. The Chevrolet Cruze WTCC Edition comes with two engine options –
- 115bhp-150Nm 1.6-liter petrol
- 145bhp-177Nm 1.8-liter petrol
We won’t be too surprised if GM India decides to bring the Chevrolet Cruze WTCC Edition to India. Powering it though, would be the vanilla edition’s diesel motor.
