It hasn’t been much time since the new NSX Concept was first showcased and Honda has already announced the NSX Concept-GT race car. The latest new NSX variant will be seen competing in the GT500 class of the Super GT Series this weekend at Suzuka.

As is very obvious, the NSX Concept GT is based on the Acura NSX concept that was unveiled earlier and is powered by a 2.0-liter inline four direct-injection turbocharged petrol engine that comes coupled to as many as three electric motors.  The twin electric motors on the front wheels contribute in making the NSX all-wheel drive. The stock car has a combined power output of 400bhp and thanks to the torque from the three electric motors, the car has a supercar challenging acceleration

Visual additions include a wide body kit, a rear wing, a lowered suspension, a carbon fiber front spoiler lip, side vents and multi-spoke alloys.
