2014 BMW 5 Series LCI 1

The launch of the 2014 BMW 5 Series facelift is just around the corner and with every passing day, we get learn some new details of the upcoming car.

What you see here on this page are first official photos of the updated F10 5 Series sedan, touring and GT that have been leaked on to the cyber space. Also seen here are images of the F10 M5 LCI that were accidently published by BMW on BMW.de a few days back. However, BMW was soon to take off these pics from the website.

Coming back to the BMW 5 Series LCI, it can now be clearly seen that the 5 Series facelift has receiving a slightly altered front fascia that sports more stylish headlights and a revised kidney grille. The facelift also gets optional LED headlights that consist of square-ish coronal rings. Mechanical changes to the car aren’t yet known but what we do know is that the car will come with an updated steering and the 550i will come with a N63Tu engine that has max power of 445hp and peak torque of 480 lb-ft.

On the inside, the car gets a new iDrive Touch system and the M Sport package interior will have a new steering wheel – from the F30 M Sport model.

Talking about the new F10 M5 LCI, the images show that the car gets only a new double slat M6-style grille for the front fascia. The 2014 M5 will also get the optional LED headlights with square-ish coronal rings.

On the inside, the car gets a new steering wheel that has been borrowed from the M6, a new iDrive Touch system and new silver trim around the navigation screen.

The 2014 M5 LCI will come with a Competition Package (7MA) that includes-

• HP increase (approximately 15-20hp)

• Top speed increase

• M Carbon Ceramic Brakes

• Sport suspension

• Sport exhaust with black tips

• Enhanced steering

• 20″ competition wheels

This package is rumored to go on sale for a price of € 9800EUR (for M5) and € 12000EUR (for M6).
