The soon-to-be-launched Nissan Terrano refuses to go out of news! While we have talked in detail about the car’s design, what we have here today is the variant-wise features list of the Duster-based crossover.

As can be seen in this image, very much like the Duster, the diesel variants of the Terrano get the 1.5-liter oil burner in two states of tune- 85PS and 110PS. The entry level variant, the XE, benefits from a driver side airbag, front and rear power windows and a multi-information display. However, the XE is available only with the 85PS motor. The XL gets gets more safety features in the form of ABS, EBD and Brake Assist along with a music system and foglights. XL can be bought with any of the two diesel engines. Nissan feels only the 110PS engine is fitting to power the flagship variant of the Terrano. Christened as the XV, the top of the line variant comes equipped with dual airbags, ABS, EBD, 16-inch alloy wheels, reverse parking sensors, rear AC and leather seats.

There is only one petrol powered variant, which comes with ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, music system, piano black center console and foglights. This variant is powered by a 1.6 litre, 104 PS petrol engine.

Nissan-Terrano-bookings

The pre-bookings for Terrano commenced on Sept 1 and while the prices aren’t out yet, Nissan India has assured us that the Terrano will have a sub-INR 10 lakhs price tag.

Save for the entirely new front fascia and the revised rear end, the car remains largely similar to the Duster. While the front end gets a new grille, bumper, headlights and a slightly revised hood, the rear comes with a a new tailgate, a revised rear bumper and a new set of tail lamps that extend all the way into the tailgate.

On the inside, the interior panels get different faux wood inserts, a set of rectangular air vents at the centre of dashboard, a revised instrument binnacle and a new ‘Nissan-ised’ steering wheel. The car also seems to have got a different audio system interface.
