Regulars here would remember that we reported when it emerged that VW is readying a new variant of the much publicized Volkswagen Up! city car for the Brazilian market. The Brazil spec car would come with more comfort levels for the rear passengers.
Now, what we have here is the first pic of what seems to be the Brazil-spec VW Up!. From what can be made out from the pic, it seems like VW is busy with the development of a LWB variant of the Up! hatchback for the Brazilian market. The Brazilian Up! would also have a higher ground clearance and a new windscreen that VW believes would give the car’s cabin an airy feeling.
The Brazi spec Up! might get 20-30mm longer wheelbase than the European sibling. We wonder if the Volkswagen Up! LWB would be considered by VW for India launch. Stay tuned.
