BMW will display its autonomous driving technology at CES

Earlier, we reported that Ford will showcase the 2015 Mustang at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next month. (Click here to read more on this) Now, it has emerged that Bavarian car manufacturer BMW will put on display its highly automated driving technology at the Consumer Electronics Show 2014.

While the manufacturer has refrained from divulging any kind of specific detail, it did confirmed that it “reveal details of its current research and development project for highly automated driving, which is designed to increase safety, comfort and efficiency for the driver and traffic system.

It has also emerged that other than putting on display its autonomous driving technology, BMW will also showcase the BMW ConnectedDrive and the BMW i Remote app. The latest BMW app displays vital vehicle information on the owner’s smartphone.

At the event, BMW will be also seen announcing a new collaboration with a “leader in the consumer electronics industry.

Unfortunately, there is no information available on this and we have no option but to wait and watch what all the upcoming collaboration involves and who BMW is planning to working with.
